Remote Desktop Windows Issue/Bug

If I remote from my widescreen Windows Vista laptop to my Windows XP work machine the windows are incorrectly drawing themselves.  The windows (I guess OS) are maximized if the start menu is being hidden.  But if I use my non-widescreen Windows XP laptop everything works just fine.

(I know I should find a Microsoft forum and post it but that's too much work right now.)

What Just Happened Feature

We need a "What Just Happened" features where the OS will replay in simulated or via text what the user just did.

Why this is needed:

  1. True End Users often do not understand how they did what this just told the computer to do.  Example might be asking a user to right click, often while they're right clicking they move the mouse at the same time and the OS does something different which is probably a needed feature but the user is clueless as to why this is happening.

Common Payment Interface

I think there's the need to create a common interface for processing credit card transactions on websites and possible other places.  It would probably have to be some type of service where a company provides one way to communicate with Visa, Amex, etc., Google, "Next Whatever", etc.

I was just on ShoeBuy.com and that have a very wide selection for payment options and it got me thinking that every website selling something has this same common problem, so every site should do the same work and code of all various formats.

I'm not a web guy and I'm sure there's some of this already going on but probably not to the fully integrated vision I have.
