Mac RDP Error to 2K8 Server

Remote desktop connection cannot verify the identity of the computer that you want to connect to. try reconnecting to the windows-based computer or contatct your administrator.




Anyone have a solution to this problem?

have been looking all over the internet for the solution to this problem. I believe that it started with some of the vista updates in the summer. I was using a virtual machine without updates - it connects fine. Let me know if you find anything...

I never got around trying this but the following is supposedly a fix:

Try deleting all files in the folder RDC Connections under Home\Documents
(or move them away).
I stopped saving preferences when RDP exits, and so long all went fine.

Thanks. I just found the old version of RDP. It is working OK, with the exception of the bugs that are inherent to 1.1.

I just successfully connected to our 2K8 Terminal Server @ work!
